My greatest victory isn’t a belt. It’s becoming someone the next kid can believe.

Christian “Spazz” Figueroa grew up in Venice Park, Atlantic City—playing youth sports, then drifting far from the field and deep into street life.

Expulsion and prison time could have become the ending. Instead, they became a line in the sand. After his release, Christian earned his high school diploma and committed himself to boxing, training with discipline at the Atlantic City PAL under head trainer Patrick Perez.

He doesn’t erase the hard chapters. He uses them as proof: people can face what they’ve done, rebuild who they are, and become a source of strength for others.

Christian and his brother Justin grew up under the same roof and took opposite paths through their teenage years. Boxing closed the distance. Today, they train side by side, pushing each other forward and helping carry Atlantic City’s fighting tradition into a new generation.
